SHIPPING POLICY
UK orders:
Your order will be posted within 2-3 working days. If you have ordered a piece to order (not in stock), please allow 5 working days for me to hand craft your piece of jewellery and then delivery time on top of this.
UK orders are shipped using 1st Class Royal Mail Signed For which will require a signature. Orders normally take between 1-5 working days to arrive however in busier times like the Christmas period or adverse weather conditions, this could potentially be longer. (please note, shipping times vary and are completely out of my hands once i have posted it!)

Europe and non EU countries
Jamaica - Royal Mail International Tracked and Signed - £15.00
Orders are sent using Royal Mail International Tracked and signed and will take approximately between 3-14 working days to arrive or longer, depending on the destination and the time of year (please note, delivery times may be longer during the Christmas period or during adverse weather conditions).
It is with a heavy heart that unfortunately as of 13th December 2024, I will no longer be selling and shipping to all EU countries and Northern Ireland, due to the new EU GPSR, covering items manufactured after 13th December 2024.
USA, Canada, Japan:
Orders to these countries will be sent using Royal Mail International Tracked and Signed and take between 5-14 days to arrive depending on the destination. (please note, delivery times may be longer during the Christmas period or during adverse weather conditions).

Customs and Import Taxes
As of 31st January 2021 the UK is no longer part of the European Union. Please be aware that Customs and Import Taxes may apply to shipments outside of the UK. These import fees are not included in the total cost of the jewellery you have ordered and you may have to pay import fees when it arrives in your country - this will vary from country to country. These charges are not controlled by Sophie Carter Jewellery therefore must be paid by the recipient.
Please note, shipping times vary in the UK as well as abroad and are completely out of my hands once i have posted it!
RETURN & EXCHANGE POLICY
I want every customer to love their jewellery and love wearing it too however if you are not 100% satisfied with your purchase please contact me.
Can I return a order?
If you would like to return your jewellery for a refund or exchange please contact me within 7 working days of receiving your item.
You have 28 days from the date you receive your jewellery to return your item to claim a refund.
The jewellery must be returned unworn, undamaged and in its original packaging to avoid additional charges.
All exchanges will be sent out once the original item has been returned with no additional postage cost.
Please note that we cannot accept returns on earrings for hygiene reasons or any jewellery that is personalised or bespoke items made specifically for a customer, unless there is a fault with the item.
I cannot offer a refund or exchange on any items that have been altered and repaired by a third party.
It is the customer’s responsibility to cover the return shipping costs and I recommend using a secure, trackable service to ensure it arrives safely back to Sophie Carter Jewellery as I cannot be held responsible for items that are lost in the post. Please send the jewellery back in its original packaging.

Your refund will be made through your original payment method, although your original shipment cost will be deducted from this refund.
Once I have received your jewellery back we will contact you. From that date it will take between 3 - 7 days for the refund to be processed.
